Romania has this wealth of history and culture for you to discover. Here at the Romania Travel Centre we provide tours and excursions of romania, from tours of the Romanian monasteries to mountain biking in the Carpathian's. Romania has something for everyone to enjoy.
Romania is a country of vast contrasts, from the bustling capital of Bucharest with its Palace, shops, hotels, museums and majestic buildings spread around its wide streets...
...to the mountain resorts where in the winter you can ski and in the summer visit the many famous monasteries or study and track wolves, bears, lynx and other animals living in their natural Romanian habitat. From the Black Sea coast with its many beaches to the Danube Delta with its beautiful scenery and abundance of plant, bird and animal life.
Romania is proud to say it has the largest population of wolves and bears in Europe and, as a country, is mainly un spoilt by tourism, offering an unequalled opportunity to visit and see the country as the Romanians see it themselves. It is steeped in history being able to trace its ancestry back to before 2000 BC.
Getting there is not a problem with direct flights from London and good connections from most regional airports. Once you are there internal transport can be arranged by air, rail, car, coach or the more leisurely pace offered by horse and cart.
