Day 1: BUCHAREST – SINAIA
Arrival at Bucharest airport. Two-hour city tour (with optional visit to the
Village Museum). Departure to Sinaia. If time allows, wine tasting at Casa
Seciu (Valea Calugareasca vineyards). Dinner in a typical hunter’s restaurant
in Sinaia. Overnight in Sinaia in a 3-star hotel.
Day 2: SINAIA – SIGHISOARA – TARGU
MURES
Visit the fabulous Peles Castle – former summer residence of the Royal
family. Departure to Sighisoara. Visit the Sighisoara citadel: the Clock Tower
and the Church in the Hill. Lunch including “Dracula” wine at Casa
Dracula restaurant.
Departure to Targu Mures. Dinner and overnight in a 3-star hotel in Targu Mures.
Day 3: TARGU MURES – CAMPULUNG MOLDOVENESC
Departure to Campulung Moldovenesc. Lunch en route. Dinner with folk program
at Bucovina’s Hut in Campulung Moldovenesc. Accommodation in a 3-star
hotel.
Day 4: BUCOVINA’S MONASTERIES
Departure from Campulung Moldovenesc. Visit the famous monasteries included
in UNESCO patrimony: Voronet – “Sistine Chapel of the Orient”,
Moldovita and Sucevita.
Lunch in a monastery including tasting of wine that is made in the monastery’s
winery.
Dinner and accommodation in Campulung Moldovenesc.
Day 5: CAMPULUNG MOLDOVENESC – KISHINEV
Early check-out and departure to Kisinev – capital of the Republic of
Moldova. Visit the biggest underground wine town with the biggest wine collection
in Europe. The total length of used and explored galleries is around 55 kilometers.
Wine tasting and dinner at the “Milestii Mici” wine cellar. The
tourists can buy wine, souvenirs and postcards.
Accommodation in Kishinev in a 3-star hotel.
Day 6: KISHINEV
Kishinev city tour. Visit the Orheiul Vechi - archeological reservation which
contains cultural layers from all known historic eras on the territory between
the Dniestr and Prut Rivers. After lunch, visit to the Capriana Monastery.
Dinner and program at “La Taifas” restaurant in Kishinev (moldavian
national cuisine). Accommodation in a 3-star hotel.
Day 7: KISHINEV
Leisure time until transfer to the airport for the home flight.
NOTE: The program of the first and last
day may vary according to the flight schedule. In Romania
museums are closed on Mondays. The Peles Castle in Sinaia
is also closed on Tuesdays.
